To a Ukrainian Party in the UK

The winner of Eurovision 2022 was the band Kalush Orchestra. All of Europe was humming their track Stefania, but already in 2023 a new musical event will take place. However, Ukraine, though entitled to it, will not host it at home, but in Liverpool, in the United Kingdom. Because of the war and the threat to the lives of the event's guests, it was decided to move the contest further away, and Britain gladly hosted it. "This is a Ukrainian party, we are just inviting them to throw the party at our house", – this is how Sam Ryder, the UK's Eurovision 2022 entrant, reacted to the venue. Hence the name of our special project, in which we have prepared 10 interviews with all the participants of the 2023 national selection. Only one of them will go to the contest to conquer Europe and represent Ukraine.
